Middle School Head Cross Country Coach

Silver Lake Regional Middle School is in search of an assistant coach to help with the training and management of the middle school cross-country program.

Qualifications:

• Experience coaching cross country; experience working with middle school students
• Previous middle school coaching experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Teach the skills and strategies of cross-country to student-athletes in grade 7-8.
• Be a role-model and teacher of cross-country, including; practice, game day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
• Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs.
• Communicate regularly with families as needed.

The stipend for this role is $1,030.
