Middle School Head Wrestling Coach

JOB DESCRIPTION: HEAD WRESTLING COACH TEMPORARY

Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in the techniques and strategies for the sport/activity
• Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required
• Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches' Education Program
• Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all district requirements and board policies

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Acts under the direction of the head coach
• Plans and directs a regular program of practice in the season
• Maintains competency in rules, regulations, and coaching techniques for the sport/activity
• To adhere to the MPS Athletics Code of Ethics and Conduct for Sports Coaches
• Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sports
