Grace Christian Academy is seeking an energetic Middle School History teacher to join its faculty. This position is full-time during the school year and is salaried dependent on the candidates experience and skillset. This teacher would teach three middle school history classes, as well as an elective of their choosing. A curriculum is provided as a guide, but hands-on, project-based, and innovative approaches are preferred.
A successful candidate will have:
• A strong Christian testimony and relationship with Jesus Christ • A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in education • A valid DPI teaching license or the willingness to obtain one • A desire to work in partnership with other teachers on staff as well as parents/families for the good of the student
