Position Responsibilities
The teacher will:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in 6th and 7th grade Language Arts and Religion.
Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills.
Help students strengthen their critical-thinking, communication, and literacy skills.
Incorporate Catholic values and teachings throughout the classroom environment.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
Maintain a structured, positive, and respectful classroom environment.
Communicate regularly and professionally with students, families, colleagues, and administrators.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and schoolwide initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, English, language arts, theology, religious education, or a related field.
Wisconsin teaching license or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure.
Experience working with middle school students preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
