Middle School Library Educational Assistant

The Middle School Library Educational Assistant is responsible for the management and daily operation of the school library, fostering a vibrant and engaging learning environment for all students. This role plays a critical part in cultivating a love for reading and informational literacy skills among middle school students. This position will lead daily library lessons for 5th and 6th graders under the supervision of our District Library Media Specialist. The successful candidate will ensure the library''s resources are organized and accessible in alignment with our school''s educational goals.

The position may also require lifting up to 50 pounds and working with students in regular education and special education settings. Some students may have significant disabilities. Position also requires that qualified candidates possess a valid driver''s license, excellent work habits, such as an excellent attendance record, strong personal skills, ability to work in a team, and the ability to work effectively with students.
