Notice is hereby given that the following positions are anticipated for the 2026-2027 school year in the Harper Creek Community School District, Battle Creek, Michigan.

POSTING DATE: July 7, 2026

CLASSIFICATION: Lunch Assistant

LOCATION: Middle School

SUPERVISOR: Kim Thayer, Principal

PAY RATE: Per Master Contract - Category 2, Step 1 $16.25

May earn an additional .50 cents / hour premium with an associate's degree or higher education or passage of the MTTC (or equivalent) test in reading, writing, and math

HOURS OF WORK: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday

10:30 am - 1:30pm (approximate)

Wednesday - 10:00 am - 1:00pm

STARTING DATE: August 24, 2026; May have training beforehand
