We are looking for a Middle School Math and Science teacher at St. John Paul II Classical School for the 2026-27 school year.
GRACE teachers are responsible for delivering individualized, age-appropriate, and standards-based content to our learners in a way they can understand, digest, and retain. To do this successfully, teachers must prepare lessons and instructional materials, manage student behavior and discipline, encourage and monitor student progress, and work with coaches, evaluators, and other teachers to improve instruction.

Core Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
Use proven teaching methods that facilitate student learning
Establish and communicate clear learning objectives for all classroom activities
Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing individual classroom, school-based, and district-wide policies and procedures
Observe, evaluate, and track student progress
Provide updates and feedback to students, parents, curriculum coaches, and other school personnel as needed
Maintain accurate and complete student records (including grades, behavioral incidents, and attendance) as required by district policy and state law
Collaborate with other teachers, academic coaches, and school administrators to improve instruction
Participate in regular professional development to enhance instructional delivery methods and student learning
Maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, coworkers and supervisors
Managing student behavior
Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment
Communicating regularly with parents
Regular, punctual and reliable attendance is an essential function of this role.
Education/Certifications
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in education or education-related program
DPI license or working toward obtaining licensure within two years (Path to licensure documentation needed)
Experience
Previous teaching experience preferred but not required
