Founded in 1999, King's Academy Christian School (KACS) is a 5-Star K4-8th grade Christian Academy in the heart of Milwaukee, serving students and families who are seeking a strong academic foundation in a Christian-centered environment. King's Academy participates in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program serving 215 scholars with one class per grade level. We are fortunate to be able to have small classroom sizes so that our teachers can build positive relationships and provide personalized learning while creating high expectations for optimal academic growth. The ideal candidate should have a desire to help us further our mission, spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and provide a high-quality education.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The teacher is responsible for designing a classroom-based assessment system that informs instruction, meets students' needs, monitors understanding, and evaluates growth in students' abilities. Content area Mathematics. The teacher is also responsible for the integration of technology into the curriculum, to attain high standards of student achievement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Wisconsin teacher certification license preferred OR eligibility for emergency permit required. Minimum one-year experience and demonstrated success with urban students is preferred. Willingness to develop professionally and to play a leading role in promoting the mission of KACS is required. All candidates must pass a background check.
