Middle School Math Teacher

Our middle school is growing! Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School is accepting applications for a Middle School Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This can be a full time or a part time position.

Duties and Responsibilities

\u2013 Fosters math development, computation skills, and a love for math while integrating Catholic teachings and values into the curriculum.

• Implements a comprehensive Math curriculum aligned with grade-level standards.

\u2013 Creates diverse and culturally responsive lessons that promote critical thinking, communication skills, and a love for math.

\u2013 Provides engaging instruction that caters to various learning styles and abilities.

\u2013 Effectively manages classroom activities, transitions, and behavior while fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere.

\u2013 Develops and administers formative and summative assessments to measure student understanding.

\u2013 Maintains a cooperative working relationship with all stakeholders.

\u2013 Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality.

\u2013 Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills.
• Serve as a lead role model, guiding students in moral and ethical development.
• Able to create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in education with a proper endorsement in Math.

Valid Nebraska teaching certificate with a proper Math endorsement.

Completion of Safe Environment Training and background check.

Previous experience teaching Math preferred.
