MA Moderate Special Education License Experience working with students with special needs Self-motivated Knowledge of the IEP process (developing, writing, and running meetings) Able to develop and implement specialized instruction to meet student learning goals as driven by IEPs Knowledge of Special Education assessment/evaluation tools, able to administer, interpret and write evaluation reports, and IEPs Knowledge of Muti-Tiered Systems of Support Ability to collaborate and work with classroom teachers and other support personnel Provide a structured, predictable, and positive classroom environment to support student learning and behavioral needs Collaborate with Gen Ed staff to support student's accommodations and modifications Systematic Phonics Trained Strong understanding of math content Experience with reading interventions Certified in Wilson Reading and/or Orton-Gillingham
