DISTRICT INFORMATION Boone County Schools are located in the northern region of Kentucky. We are the third largest school district in the Commonwealth and have the highest test scores of any large diverse school district. The district is home to twenty-three 23 schools including four high schools five middle schools and fourteen elementary schools. We serve nearly 20000 students from pre-school through 12th grade and have over 3600 full and part time employees.
Boone County Schools have a strong tradition of achieving excellence and have experienced a great deal of success through the years. We are recognized for our innovations and achievements.
