REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
  • Must hold a DI endorsement
  • Must meet Highly Qualified requirements
  • Middle School grades 6-8 teacher certification

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Next Generation Science Standards
  • Dual certification in additional core area
  • Experience working with Section 504 and Special Education students
  • Experienced in incorporating the use of technology into lesson planning and delivery
  • Engagement with diversity, equity, and inclusivity work
  • Commitment to reflective practices and professional growth
  • Willingness to participate in extra-curricular responsibilities (coaching, clubs, etc.)

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary placement is in accordance with the HEA Master Contract salary schedule. The district offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as Michigan Public School Employees' Retirement System (MPSERS) enrollment.
