Middle School Science Teacher (LOA)

McCall Middle School seeks a qualified interim Science Teacher to serve from September 1, 2026 through September 15, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned science instruction for middle school students
• Manage classroom instruction, assessment, and grading in accordance with department curriculum
• Collaborate with grade-level and department colleagues on curriculum pacing and planning
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom, including proper use of lab materials and equipment
• Participate in required school meetings and professional development

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE licensure in Middle School Science (5-8)
• Master''s degree required; coursework in a science discipline preferred
• Prior classroom teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
