DutiesVACANCY The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Science teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year.
JOB SUMMARY The teacher is responsible to the Building Principal for Planning instructional lessons that meet the needs interests and abilities of students creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and employing effective instructional techniques.
QualificationsApplicants must hold the appropriate State of Illinois PEL Professional Educator License with Science EndorsementSuccessful teaching experience 6-8 school level preferredDemonstrated skill in diagnosing prescribing assessing student learning and appropriate record keepingKnowledge of current teaching techniques computers and multimediaApplicants must be able to structure a classroom to maximize student learningApplicants must be able to establish effective communication skills with a variety of stakeholdersA commitment to the school program and philosophyExperience and willingness to participate in co-curricular program as sponsor supervisor or coach
