A growing charter school in Palmetto, Florida is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science/Agriculture Teacher to join its team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging middle school science lessons aligned with Florida state standards.
- Create a positive, structured, and student-centered classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Incorporate hands-on experiments, STEM activities, and technology into daily instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Maintain classroom management that supports student achievement and positive behavior.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Florida Educator Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in the appropriate certification area.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for working with middle school students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
- Experience teaching middle school science is preferred but not required.
