MIDDLE SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION

LONG-TERM REPLACEMENT TEACHER (GRADES 68)

October 19, 2026 - April 9, 2027

Position Overview

The Millstone Township School District is seeking a motivated and student-centered long-term replacement Special Education teacher to serve students in grades 68. This full-time position, from October 19, 2026, through April 9, 2027, will provide continuity of instruction and support during a teacher leave of absence. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality instruction while supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students with disabilities. Qualifications

• Appropriate New Jersey certification required: Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Middle School Specialization in English Language Arts (Grades 58)
• Experience teaching middle school students with disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of evidence-based literacy and writing instruction
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative teaching team

Salary Range: $67,815 to $72,165*
