Middle School Special Education Teacher Leave Replacement
Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering standards-aligned instruction in accordance with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards
Differentiating to meet diverse learner needs
Using assessment data to inform instruction
Maintaining an effective classroom environment
Collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff
Candidates must demonstrate:
Strong instructional practice
Sound classroom management
A commitment to student academic growth
Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Elementary School Teacher certification
Candidates must have NJ Teacher of the Handicapped Certification OR NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities
Knowledge of standards-based instruction and assessment
Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Salary commensurate with experience.
