Qualified applicants of high character should possess the ability and have the interest in teaching Middle School Science and Language Arts.
The ideal candidate should believe all students can learn and that teachers play an active role in the learning process. Collaboration and communication skills are a must.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of best teaching practices, will make data-based decisions, will use technology as a tool for learning, will be familiar with academic standards, differentiation strategies, and RTI experience. Knowledge of effective classroom management is essential.
Willingness to lead/coach Extra-curricular positions is also welcome.
