The School District of Greenwood is seeking a full-time middle school language arts teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Greenwood is a progressive, rural school district dedicated to providing students with the opportunities to excel in a wide range of required and elective courses.

The district is seeking a passionate teacher able to work in a collaborative environment to improve student achievement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with the middle level learners. Candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents. Technology literacy is also desired. Co-curricular positions may also be available.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students.
  • Assess students to determine level of performance.
  • Develop student learning plans.
  • Conduct small group instruction and support.
  • Use data to monitor student progress.
  • Communicate with parents and teachers.
