Position Summary:
The Paris Consolidated J1 School District is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Middle School Teacher with certification in Science and Social Studies for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engaging middle school learners, fostering critical thinking, and creating a positive classroom environment that supports all students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license in Middle School Science and Social Studies
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement
- PLTW (Project Lead The Way) certification is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in Science and/or Social Studies
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success
- Communicate effectively with families and staff
- Participate in school and district initiatives
