Position Summary
The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instruction that supports student learning and growth. This role creates a positive, inclusive classroom environment, collaborates with colleagues and families, and upholds school policies and academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs • Assess student progress using formative and summative methods • Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment • Provide timely feedback to students and families • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators • Participate in professional development and school meetings • Maintain accurate records, attendance, grades, and documentation • Support students social-emotional and behavioral development
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in Education or a related field is required. A valid teaching license or certification is also required. Classroom teaching experience is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with students and families. A commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning is also expected.
