Job Description:
This job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include looking for opportunities to improve efficiency when implementing and maintaining tools/services and embracing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Role provides middleware administration duties for online banking and eCommerce platforms, end-to-end, including WebLogic, WebSphere, Jboss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS (extreme scale cache).
Delivering middleware enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiatives.
Ensuring production stability from an ongoing support standpoint.
Ensuring middleware platforms are patched with the most current version of software, helping to manage risk to the customer.
Providing Middleware Application Server administration that includes server installation, configuration, performance tuning and production support.
Support and conduct production change management duties.
Working with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on a daily basis and providing Middleware and Java support.
Designing Middleware infrastructure and Middleware topology design for high availability and failover capability.
Interfacing with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and executing production changes for Bank integrated and regulatory releases with precision.
Promotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
Contributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains
Required Qualifications:
WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, IBMHttpServer, Tomcat, Apache Middleware administration.
Knowledge of shell, jython and Perl scripting.
Information Technology professional with 8 years’ experience
Bladelogic toolset expertise
Expertise with AppDynamics and DynaTrace
Java/Container framework knowledge and Expertise with Ansible
Strong analytical, multitasking and prioritization skills
Willing and able to work in a 24 X 7 environment including after hours and weekend support to support multiple time zones
Understanding/experience with web application communication protocols - SOAP, HTTP, XML etc
Excellent knowledge of core network services (DNS, SMTP, NTP, syslog, HTTP).
Working knowledge of application setup, support, and configuration Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems with hands on experience in troubleshooting Linux application issues
Experience with infrastructure, application performance, and customer experience tools using Netcool, ITM, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and SiteScope
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and/or field experience with at least 3 years supporting WebLogic, Jboss, Tomcat, IBM HTTP Server, Apache, and similar Middleware products (app server) and web servers
J2EE experience at the large-scale enterprise system level BMC Remedy ITSM tool experience

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$104,200.00 - $155,300.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
