Midstream Program Manager

National Fuel is currently seeking an Midstream Program Manager for an outstanding career opportunity in the Midstream Business Operations department located at one of our office locations - currently accepting candidates in Cranberry Township, PA; Erie, PA; or Buffalo, NY. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the program management and oversight of all aspects of capital execution for National Fuel Midstream.
  • Define project scopes based on operational requirements, field conditions, and customer demand in accordance with all federal and state regulatory requirements and National Fuel specifications.
  • Develop and track all active project schedules, cost estimates, and monitor actual performance to original projections.
  • Approve and execute project authorizations for scope changes, budget impacts, and scheduling changes monthly.
  • Deliver monthly updates to upper management on the status of key performance indicators for the capital program.
  • Implement sophisticated project controls, specifications and procedures, and quality control systems.
  • Enhance internal documents and processes for project management control to closely align with upper management goals.
  • Participate in project strategy discussions as it relates to future business needs and the execution of the proposed plans.
  • Drive positive changes to enhance capital efficiencies using new technologies, contractors, specifications, or other forwarding thinking ideas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 7-10+ years of prior project engineering experience, worked with regulatory agencies (PUC/FERC/PHMSA/DEP), and/or knowledge of natural gas gathering / transmission pipeline and station design and construction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proven technical abilities, and strong computer skills required.
  • Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage a dynamic schedule and team.
  • The ability to demonstrate effective leadership, motivation, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced high-impact work environment.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and demonstrated teamwork skills needed.
  • Ability to travel throughout central and western Pennsylvania and western New York, as necessary.
  • The successful candidate can be located in either Cranberry Township, PA; Erie, PA; or Buffalo, NY.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project Management Institute PMP Certification.
  • Field engineering and/or construction management experience in the oil and gas industry.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $152,000.

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
