Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced MIG Aluminum Welder to join our sign fabrication team. The ideal candidate will weld and assemble aluminum frames, sign structures, and components according to specifications and drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on aluminum for sign frames, cabinets, and structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Cut, fit, and prepare aluminum materials for welding.
- Ensure all welds meet quality and appearance standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep a clean, safe work area.
- Work closely with fabricators and installers to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in MIG aluminum welding (preferred).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and weld symbols.
- Skilled in using power tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must pass a welding test prior to employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Work in a manufacturing or fabrication shop environment.
