Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking experienced MIG & Metalcore Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in East Tulsa. This position is responsible for producing high-quality welds on a variety of fabricated components while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards in a modern, climate-controlled facility.

The ideal candidate has strong MIG welding skills, a positive attitude, and takes pride in producing quality work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous MIG (GMAW) welding experience required
Experience with Metalcore welding or similar processes preferred
Ability to pass the required weld test
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on fabricated components according to engineering specifications
Utilize Metalcore welding processes when required
Produce high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and welding procedures
Inspect completed welds to verify quality, appearance, and structural integrity
Maintain welding equipment and workstations in safe operating condition
Participate in cross-training opportunities to expand welding and fabrication skills
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assigned
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete:

MIG Flat Root Weld Test
Three-Pass Weld Test
Bend Test
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in structural or production welding environments
Experience working with Metalcore wire processes
Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around welding equipment, heat, sparks, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment
Work Environment
