MIG/TIG Welder
Pay: $21-$23/hr
Shift: 7:00a to 4:30p
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join a manufacturing team producing high-quality metal components. This role is responsible for welding, fitting, and fabricating metal parts according to prints and specifications while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
- Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and adjust machine settings as needed
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance; perform minor rework when required
- Use grinders, torches, clamps, and measuring tools to prepare and finish parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Experience welding structural, sheet metal, or fabricated components
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Welding certifications are a plus but not required
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/fabrication shop environment
- Exposure to welding fumes, sparks, and heat (PPE provided)
- Fast-paced, team-oriented setting
