A Day in the Life

As a Welder II, you'll use your MIG and TIG welding skills to manufacture high-quality laboratory equipment while maintaining the exceptional craftsmanship our customers expect.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform precision MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and engineering specifications
  • Set up and operate welding equipment to produce high-quality welds
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering requirements
  • Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, engineering, and quality teams
  • Troubleshoot welding or fabrication challenges and recommend process improvements
  • Complete production documentation accurately, including router sheets and non-conformance documentation
  • Weld and assemble metal components in a temperature-controlled facility.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and productivity
  • Assist other manufacturing teams as business needs require

What We're Looking For

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Welding certification preferred

Experience

  • At least one year of hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience
  • Experience working from blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Experience performing quality inspections on finished welds
  • Experience with first-piece inspections preferred
  • Manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (cGMP) is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
  • Safely handle tools, equipment, and fabricated components

Hiring Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
  • Candidates selected for onsite interviews will complete a hands-on welding assessment.

Location: Marietta, OH (Relocation assistance is not available)

Pay Range: $17/hr-24/hr with 15% shift differential for 2nd shift

Shift: 1st Shift | Four 10-hour shifts | 5am - 3pm | Monday–Friday with a rotating weekday off. Every 5th weekend off, Friday - Monday.
