Job Title: MIG Welder (Manufacturing)
Pay & Benefits: $20/hr, plus paid breaks and a paid 30-minute lunch. Contract-to-hire opportunity with strong long-term stability. Once hired in, benefits include medical (80/20 plan), dental, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, paid holidays, and 1 week of vacation after year 1.
Hours & Location: Lorain, OH
Monday–Thursday: 6:30am–3:00pm
Friday: 6:30am–12:30pm
Dress code: jeans, t-shirt. Steel-toe boots required.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding to secure finished metal coils to metal pallets
Set up your work area, position materials, and follow weld instructions
Complete visual checks to confirm clean, consistent welds
Stay safety-focused and keep the welding area clean and organized
Work on your feet in a busy production environment and follow direction from the team
Required Qualifications:
Prior MIG welding experience (must have welded before to be considered)
Dependable attendance and the ability to work well with others
Comfortable standing for extended periods in a plant/manufacturing setting
Safety-minded and able to follow written and verbal instructions

Contract-to-Hire & Pay Progression: Start at $20/hr Pay is reviewed when converting to direct hire, and additional increases follow the company’s standard review schedule after hire-in.
