MIG Welder - 2nd Shift

Location: Tyler, TX

Pay: $20.50/hr

Remedy Staffing is hiring MIG Welders for a local fabrication shop in Tyler, TX. We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals with welding experience who are committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday: 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM
  • Friday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday (as needed): 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on steel components according to production specifications and quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and fabrication drawings
  • Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
  • Produce quality welds that meet customer and company requirements
  • Inspect workpieces and completed welds for defects, accuracy, and conformance to specifications
  • Perform visual weld inspections and identify any necessary repairs or rework
  • Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, gauges, and other measuring tools
  • Clean, grind, and prepare materials before and after welding operations
  • Maintain production goals while ensuring high-quality workmanship
  • Complete production records and required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and quality guidelines
  • Report equipment malfunctions, material concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist with handling, moving, and staging materials and finished products as needed

 


Requirements

  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during temporary assignment; up to 75 lbs if hired directly by the client
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Annual vision screening required
  • Must complete safety training and sign safety and employee handbook documentation before start date
  • Steel-toe boots required (all other PPE provided)
