Job Title: MIG Welder

As a MIG Welder, you'll play a crucial role in fabricating fireboxes and accessories, ensuring precise and efficient welding operations. You'll work closely with engineering to optimize welding programs, contributing to the production of high-quality components. What You'll Do
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating production welding equipment, including manual and robotic welders.
- Interpreting blueprints and AWS welding symbols to perform accurate welds.
- Performing MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and spot welding in all positions as required.
- Using sheet metal measuring tools like calipers and protractors to ensure precision.
- Collaborating with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Maintaining safety protocols and actively participating in ergonomic evaluations and safety programs.
- Operating other fabrication equipment as needed to support manufacturing processes.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and the Employee Development Program.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of welding experience, preferably with MIG and some TIG welding.
- One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to obtain a forklift license if necessary.
- Physically capable of performing welding tasks and standing for extended periods.
