MIG Welder

We are looking for experienced MIG Welders to join a manufacturing team in the Akron/Mogadore area. If you have a background in welding and enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, this opportunity might be perfect for you.

In this role, you'll work on a welding line to manufacture pipe sections from rolled steel, welding components together and supporting the product with framing. This position offers consistent hours, a team-focused environment, and opportunities for skill development.

Hours

Monday Friday, 6:00 am 2:30 pm
15-minute paid break, 30-minute unpaid lunch

Pay

$21.00/hour
OT pay over 8 hours and on Saturdays

Key Responsibilities

Weld with a MIG Welder (copper wire feeder) on galvanized and stainless steel
Read and interpret CAD drawings
Weld rolled steel sheets into pipe sections
Weld various fabricated parts
Operate a forklift
Operate a CNC Press Brake
Specific techniques will be taught

Minimum Requirements

MIG Welding experience required
Experience welding carbon, galvanized, and stainless steel preferred
Ability to weld for structural integrity
Must have own welding hood
Valid drivers license required
Previous manufacturing experience a plus
Capable of lifting 50 lbs
Experience operating a CNC Press Brake is a plus
Understanding of industrial safety risks and procedures; good safety record

Nice to Have Skills

Experience welding different steel types
Forklift operation skills
Drawing interpretation skills

Preferred Education and Experience

Prior welding experience in manufacturing environment
