MIG/ROBOTIC WELDER – Charlotte, NC
Schedule: M – F | Shift: 5am – 1pm | Pay: $20 - $25, depending on experience
About the Role
Employbridge is seeking an experienced MIG/Robotic Wedlers to support high-volume metal fabrication operations. This position is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience with robotic welding cells, MIG welding, and production-floor quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor robotic welding machines (robotic welding cells, automated welding systems)
- Perform MIG welding on steel components as needed
- Load/unload parts, fixtures, and jigs into robotic weld cells
- Adjust machine parameters, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain production flow
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on robotic welding equipment
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and OSHA standards
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet daily output goals
Required Experience
- Hands-on experience operating robotic welding machines (Fanuc, Lincoln, ABB, or similar)
- MIG welding experience (GMAW) — ability to produce clean, consistent welds
- Ability to read basic blueprints, weld symbols, and production instructions
- Experience in a metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced production setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fixture setup, tooling changeovers, or machine calibration
- Knowledge of weld inspection standards
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices
