A Custom metal fabrication company located in the Comstock Park/Walker area, specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication and welding. They operate a fast-paced, production-driven environment manufacturing custom metalcomponents for various industries. The company offers steady hours and strong overtime opportunities (up to 55 hours/week), making it attractive for experienced welders.

Mig Welder Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 21.00 to $ 22.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:30pm to 02:00am)
- Perform precision MIG welding on fabricated metal parts according to specifications.
- Accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Measure components and maintain tight tolerances throughout the welding process.
- Set up and adjust welding machines to achieve optimal performance and quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Mig Welder Qualifications:
- Proven experience in MIG welding.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Demonstrated ability to measure accurately and work with tight tolerances.
- Strong understanding of welding machine operation and setup.
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of the shift.
- Capable of lifting 25–50+ lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working in a loud, industrial, and potentially dirty environment.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
