MIG Welder

Employ-Temps Staffing Services is looking for an experienced MIG Welder in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. If you have strong stainless steel MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting, we want to hear from you.

You’ll be working with an innovative manufacturing team fabricating stainless steel components for food-grade quality oil management systems, including tanks, caddies, and custom assemblies. This role includes cutting, fitting, and welding with an emphasis on quality and safety. All candidates will be required to complete a welding test to assess competency, so please arrive prepared to take the test during the interview.

Hours
1st Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday – Friday

Pay
$21.00+/hour (based on experience and skill level)

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding tasks
  • Select and operate MIG welding equipment based on job requirements
  • Cut and prepare materials using saws and grinders
  • Align and secure parts using measuring tools and clamps
  • Perform MIG welding in various positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead)
  • Inspect welds and perform necessary repairs
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Experience welding stainless steel components
  • Skilled with MIG welding equipment and techniques
  • AWS MIG welding certification or completion of a technical program/apprenticeship preferred
  • Proficient with hand and power tools (calipers, grinders, saws, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Strong understanding of metal properties and welding safety standards
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience fabricating food-grade quality stainless steel components

Preferred Education and Experience
  • AWS MIG welding certification or completion of a technical program/apprenticeship related to welding
  • 3–5 years MIG welding experience in manufacturing/fabrication
