Position: MIG Welder
Location: Grand Island, NE
Pay: $18.00/hr + DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday | 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM
As a Welder, you'll perform welding tasks on a variety of materials while working alongside experienced professionals who can help you expand your skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational welding experience who is eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, ductile iron and other materials
Assist with preparation and fitting of workpieces
Follow blueprints, specifications and work instructions to produce quality welds
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
Adhere to all company safety procedures and standards
Support production needs and complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Basic welding certification or equivalent hands-on experience
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desire to learn new skills and improve welding techniques
Preferred Skills:
Basic MIG welding experience
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good problem-solving and time-management skills
Flexibility to work overtime when needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend and move throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment while wearing required protective equipment
