Job Summary:
A precision metal fabrication shop located in McDonough, GA is seeking for qualified and experience MIG Welders. This is a steady, full-time shift opportunity with overtime available. This job offers $24-$28/hr -- Pay is based on experience.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 3:00PM-12:00AM (Midnight)
Job Duties:
Production MIG (GNAW) welding on steel and sheet metal fabrications
read and work from blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
Set up and operate MIG welding equipment; adjust settings for material and joint type
Fit, tack, and weld parts to spec; grind and prep as needed.
Inspect your own work for quality and consistency
Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area
Skills and Qualifications:
+2 years of hands-on MIG Welding experience (production or fabrication shop preferred)
Ability to pass an in-house MIG weld test (no formal certification required)
Ability to read a tape measure and basic shop drawings
Must pass background check and drug screen
Flux-core (FCAW) experience is a plus
