Job Summary

Under the direction of the Migrant Education Program supervisor and/or designee, perform various identification, recruitment, and outreach duties for the Migrant Education Program; identify, recruit, and enroll students in the program; assist in determining parent/guardian and student eligibility and qualification for the program; assist in the coordination of outreach; serve as a liaison between parents/guardians, students, and school districts; perform home visits to explain and review program information; conduct periodic home visits and eligibility reviews of program participants; interpret/translate into Spanish both in oral and written communications related to the Migrant Education Program.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Graduation from high school. Any combination equivalent to: • Two years increasingly responsible duties involving public contact. • Experience in Migrant Education identification and recruitment. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Bilingual and Biliterate - Spanish. • Requires a valid California Driver's License.
