Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our MIGS surgeon, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Gig Harbor, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of gynecological cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate MIGS surgeon, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex gynecological disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
Full-time (1.0FTE) position based at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, WA, a 112 bed Level III trauma center.
Join one other MIGS surgeon and 3 APPs at this location.
The group is closely connected with VMFHs well established OB/GYN practice.
This is a growth position due to the high volume of patients and large wait time. The new physician will be busy from day 1.
St. Anthony has two DaVinci robots available with block time as well as Acessa.
Call responsibilities include your own practice call which is approximately 1:2 rotation as well as occasional hospital call which is generally 4-5 times per month which can also include St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood.

Job Requirements
Required
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
MIGS fellowship training
Active or eligible license in the state of Washington
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families
