    Description

    Sales Manager - West

    Reports To: President

    Position Summary

We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys creating new

business and building long-term partnerships. This role is responsible for growing sales

throughout an assigned territory by personally developing strategic opportunities with multi-unit

restaurant operators, hotel projects, and stocking dealer partners.

Success in this position comes from directly influencing key decision-makers, identifying new

business opportunities, and leading projects from specification through implementation. Third-

party representatives and dealer partners are important extensions of our sales organization and

are expected to amplify your efforts-not replace them.

If you enjoy opening doors, solving customer challenges, and winning business in a competitive

marketplace, we'd love to meet you.

    What Youll Do

    Drive Strategic Growth

    • Personally develop and manage relationships with multi-unit restaurant operators, hotel

groups, hospitality management companies, and other key end users.

    • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities that grow revenue and market

    share.

    • Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on high-value growth

    opportunities.

    • Build long-term relationships that position the company as a preferred tabletop partner.

    Develop Stocking Distribution

    • Identify and develop stocking dealer opportunities that increase product availability and

    accelerate sales throughout the territory.

    • Work closely with distributor leadership to expand inventory commitments and drive

    sell-through.

    • Create territory strategies that strengthen dealer engagement and long-term partnerships.

    Lead the Sales Channel

    • Manage and coach independent sales representatives and dealer partners to maximize

    territory coverage and opportunity development.

    • Ensure representatives are aligned with territory priorities and effectively supporting

    strategic accounts.

    • Coordinate sales efforts across representatives, dealers, and internal teams to deliver

    outstanding customer experiences.

    Consultative Selling

    • Conduct product presentations, tabletop demonstrations, and business reviews with

    customers.

    • Understand customer operations and recommend solutions that improve their dining

    experience and operational efficiency.

    • Provide exceptional service before, during, and after the sale.

    Business Leadership

    • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
    • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth

    opportunities.

    • Collaborate with Sales Team, Marketing, Category Management, Customer Service, and

    Operations to support customer success.

    • Maintain accurate forecasts and communicate territory performance to leadership.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within foodservice, hospitality, tabletop, or a

    related industry.

    • Demonstrated success developing new business and growing strategic accounts.
    • Experience selling to multi-unit restaurant groups, hotels, hospitality operators, or

    foodservice distribution is strongly preferred.

    • Experience working with independent sales representatives and distribution partners.
    • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Highly organized with strong planning and territory management abilities.
    • Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently.
    • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and attend industry trade shows as

    needed.

    What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time directly engaging customers and

developing opportunities that drive meaningful growth. They will strategically leverage

representatives and dealer partners to expand market coverage while maintaining ownership of

the territory's largest opportunities and most important customer relationships.
