We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Milk Receiver to join our production team. This is a hands-on position responsible for receiving incoming raw milk, checking product quality, operating receiving equipment, and helping maintain a clean and safe work environment. What You'll Do Receive raw milk deliveries from tanker trucks and transfer milk into designated storage tanks. Weigh incoming and outgoing tanker trucks and accurately record weights and receiving information. Collect milk samples for laboratory testing. Perform required quality checks, including temperature verification and antibiotic screening. Operate pumps, valves, meters, hoses, and other milk receiving equipment. Monitor milk flow and accurately complete receiving and production records. Wash, clean, and sanitize tankers, hoses, receiving lines, silos, fittings, and equipment. Inspect equipment and work areas and report any safety, sanitation, quality, or maintenance concerns. Work closely with production, laboratory, maintenance, transportation, and management teams. Follow food safety, sanitation, GMP, HACCP, quality, and workplace safety procedures. Wear required PPE and follow safe work practices at all times. What We're Looking For Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Able to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Comfortable working around production equipment, hoses, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation materials. Able to work independently while also being a team player. Basic computer and data-entry skills are a plus. Previous dairy, food production, beverage, manufacturing, sanitation, or warehouse experience is preferred. License & Experience A current California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA) General Sampler and Weigher License is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain one as required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Previous experience in dairy, food manufacturing, beverage production, sanitation, warehouse, or a similar environment is a plus. Schedule This is generally an 8-hour-per-day, 5-day-per-week position. Applicants should be flexible, as overtime, weekends, holidays, and alternative shifts may be required depending on production needs. Physical & Work Environment This is an active, hands-on position that involves standing throughout the shift and working around milk tankers during loading and unloading operations. Employees will regularly handle, connect, and disconnect hoses and related receiving equipment. The position is performed in a production environment with varying temperatures and wet conditions. Employees must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
