As a Mill Laborer, youll support production flow, material handling, and quality control in a fast-paced sawmill environment. As a Mill Laborer, you will be responsible for:
Monitoring production lines to ensure boards are aligned and uncrossed for safe operation.
Moving materials, including transferring sticks from baskets to designated locations efficiently.
Identifying and separating broken or damaged wood from usable materials during the edger picking process.
Assisting with overall mill operations to maintain productivity and safety standards.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
