Description
Mill Operator-2nd shift Were looking for a reliable and safety-focused Mill Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate milling equipment, perform quality checks, maintain production standards, and help ensure a clean and safe work environment. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working in manufacturing and takes pride in producing high-quality products. Shift Information
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
Training will be completed during daytime hours
Schedule is MondayFriday, with some Saturdays required
Overtime is mandatory as needed
What Youll Do
Set up, operate, and clean mill equipment according to company procedures
Prepare and maintain sifters, screens, mill rolls, scales, and transfer systems
Operate roller mills and air classifier mills within production guidelines
Ensure the correct ingredients and materials are available before startup
Monitor equipment performance and assist with preventative maintenance
Perform quality checks every 30 minutes to ensure product standards are met
Help reduce downtime and improve production efficiency
Clean and sanitize equipment as required
Replace bag house filters and assist with general maintenance tasks
Complete production reports, inspections, and required documentation accurately
Communicate production issues, concerns, and improvement ideas to supervisors
Participate in job training and development opportunities
Safety & Quality Expectations
Follow all company health, safety, environmental, and food safety policies
Maintain compliance with California OSHA regulations
Support a workplace focused on zero injuries and high-quality food production
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation standards at all times
Qualifications
Manufacturing or production experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift, push, or pull production materials and equipment as needed
Comfortable working around industrial machinery and in a manufacturing environment
