Mill Operator

Thompson First Group is seeking Mill Operators for direct hire opportunities with a local manufacturing client.

Candidates with experience working in heavy industrial settings are encouraged to apply. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties will include the operation of furnaces, casters, cranes, handling equipment, mobile equipment and crushing, blending and screening systems.

Education and/or Experience

• Must have extensive experience and interest in hot metal foundry industry, steel mill, or heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members and hold a high school diploma.
