Mill Technician

Job Title: Mill TechnicianLocation: Nixa, MOJob Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour DOESchedule: Days  POSITION OBJECTIVE:  This position will be responsible for operating and performing routine maintenance of media mills in support of ink manufacturing. This position will also provide preventative/routine maintenance support for other production equipment.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Responsible for all aspects of daily mill operation and routine mainenance.
• Review specifications and raw materials based on the batch ticket for product to be milled.
• Mixes raw materials following company specifications to mill the product.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Basic electrical knowledge a plus
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Organized/detail oriented 
• Self directed
• Not afraid to get dirty 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Incumbents generally must be able to, with or without accommodation, have the proficient use of both sensory perception/clarity and muscle control/coordination.  This may include vision (near, far, color, glare control), hearing (auditory attention, sound localization), speech, strength, agility, dexterity flexibility, steadiness or reaction time. Exposure to solvents, acids, visual demands from examining fine details on computer screen and finished wheels.    Why Work with Penmac?
