CNC Twin Spindle Mill-Turn Operator

We are currently accepting applications for a CNC twin spindle mill-turn operator.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC turning center dual spindle, including loading offline generated programs, associated tooling, and work holding. • Conduct minor program editing as required utilizing programmed offsets. • Utilize engineering drawings and work instructions to perform machining tasks with a high level of quality. • Utilize QC equipment, including proprietary master gaging, Zoller tool setters, electronic height gages, thread gages, hand tools, etc. • Conduct 1st part and audit inspection, ensuring all aspects of quality are being met in accordance with quality plans and engineering specifications. • Maintain workspace orderliness and cleanliness. • Quality assurance and labor reporting via Windows-based computer system. • Maintain organized and clean work area. • Works to applicable process protocols and procedures. • Works in a team environment. • Work overtime and weekends as required. • Perform other tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 2-year CNC turning experience or 1 year manufacturing coupled with appropriate CNC trade school experience. Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric tolerances. Ability to utilize electronic and mechanical precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment. Strong interpersonal skills to work well in a team environment. Intermediate math skills, including addition, subtraction, decimals, metric to English conversion, trigonometry, and a plus. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and self-motivation. Trade school experience is a plus.

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $20-30 per hour, 2nd shift - 2-10pm with overtime as required.
