Located within 2-hour drive of The Thousand Islands, Lake Ontario shoreline, the Adirondack Mountains and world class skiing at Lake Placid. Explore Canada with Montreal and Ottawa only 2-3 hours away. Responsibilities: Work with the mill crew to support continued production. Tasks could be, but not limited to Operating a loader or forklift; Material, supplies, and chemicals handling; Dust control; Monitoring of our milling process; Move and load grinding media; Take instructions from mill personnel; Start and operate lime slaking system and crusher system; Operate disc filter and dryer; Mix and transfer reagents; Painting, sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining the mill floors, walkways, and areas; Maintenance activities with the millwrights. Adhere to MSHA and Company safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment; Normal hours M-F, but must be flexible in work hours as needed when unexpected troubleshooting and projects arise; Other reasonable duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Familiar with rod and ball milling a plus; Physical strength and endurance to move and lift heavy equipment; Experience working in a mill environment a plus; Legally authorized to work in the US.
