Miller / Compounder
Pay: $24.47/hr + $1.75/hr shift differential = $26.22/hr
Shifts: Monday - Friday
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Overview
We are seeking a Miller / Compounder to support material mixing, screening, and milling operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for producing quality batches, monitoring equipment, maintaining safe operations, and ensuring products meet customer and quality specifications.
Responsibilities
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Record production and operational data accurately.
- Transfer materials and products using material handling equipment and hand tools.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow work orders and customer specifications precisely.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operating issues.
- Monitor gauges and machine indicators to maintain proper operation.
Mixing and Compounding
- Measure and add raw materials according to batch requirements.
- Operate mixing equipment and monitor blending cycles.
- Transfer finished material into containers and label batches correctly.
- Clean mixing equipment between production runs.
- Submit batch samples to QA/QC for testing.
Screening Operations
- Load material into screening equipment and run production cycles.
- Monitor material flow and cut product to required lengths.
- Weigh products and adjust as needed to meet specifications.
- Package, label, and rack finished material.
Milling Operations
- Weigh materials according to formulation sheets.
- Operate rolling mills to mix and process materials into sheets.
- Continuously cut and rework material during the milling process.
- Prepare samples for QA/QC testing.
- Place finished sheets on racks for transfer to extrusion.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or related industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written instructions and work orders.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
