As a machinist, you will set up and operate horizontal, multi-joint, or vertical numerical control machines to perform complex machining operations. Your role involves:
- Executing machining operations such as compound angles, boring, helical milling, and more.
- Selecting, mounting, and aligning machine attachments and tooling.
- Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
- Using precision measuring instruments and making standard shop computations.
- Monitoring equipment, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining documentation.
- Enforcing strict adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with additional education and/or related experience.
- Experience with robotics and CNC Machining.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and dial indicators.
- Ability to work a 3/10 schedule and second shift.
- US Citizenship required.
Preferences
- Formal CNC Machining Certificate.
