The successful candidate will have a doctorate in Human Development and Family Science, or a related field, national reputation for excellence in scholarship, track record of external funding, and publications in top-tier journals. Candidates should have a scholarly emphasis in human development and family science with (a) methodological expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), data science, or machine learning with large data or (b) subject matter expertise on the impact of AI on individuals, couples, or families across the lifespan. We are interested in researchers who pursue artificial intelligence (AI) as either a research topic or methodology. We welcome scholars who use data-intensive, computational, and AI-enabled approaches to advance the understanding of human development and family processes across the lifespan. We also welcome scholars who assess the use of AI and other technological advancements on individual development and family relationships across the lifespan.
