Millworks Sales Specialist Location: Alpha Warehouse, Destrehan, LA 70047 Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Millworks Sales Specialist to join our team at the Alpha Warehouse in Destrehan, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork products and sales, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients. Responsibilities- Assist customers in selecting millwork products that meet their needs and specifications.
- Provide detailed product knowledge and technical support regarding millwork materials, finishes, and installation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and designers.
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and sales orders accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory management.
- Stay current on industry trends, new products, and competitive offerings.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the millworks division.
Qualifications- Proven experience in millworks sales or related building materials sales.
- Strong knowledge of millwork products including moldings, doors, cabinetry components, and trim.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and sales software tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
